The top five cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization are self-evident.
And, as you can see, Ripple was the least discussed cryptocurrency among the top ten. Perhaps it’s because it’s a cryptocurrency designed exclusively for banks, and you know how banks and cryptos don’t mix.
- Bybit (For XRP margin trading)
- Binance (World-renowned exchange lets you convert BTC or other cryptos to XRP)
- CoinBase (Buy Ripple with Bank Account (ACH) or debit card). Supports users from USA.
- CEX.io (London based exchange lets you buy Instantly using a credit/debit card)
- Wazirx (India based exchange lets you buy XRP)
Where To Buy Ripple Cryptocurrency (XRP) From?
Binance is a rapidly expanding cryptocurrency exchange that we’ve previously covered extensively. (Read our review of Binance.)
However, considering their user-friendly mobile app, it is safe to claim that Binance is one of the cheapest exchanges to use if you use Binance tokens to pay the exchange fee, as well as the best exchange to buy/sell crypto on the move.
On Binance, you can buy and sell Ripple (XRP) in the following trade pairs, with decent volume for large orders:
- XRP/BTC, XRP/ETH are two of the supported XRP pairs.
You must first send BTC or ETH before exchanging it for XRP. As stated in the video above, the procedure is the same. If you don’t have Bitcoins, you can purchase them with a debit or credit card at Cex.io or CoinMama.
2. Huobi Pro
Huobi Pro is a global cryptocurrency exchange that began in China and has now expanded to service as many investors as possible. It is headquartered in Singapore and has been effectively operating in this market for the past five years.
It has 244 cryptocurrency pairs and is currently ranked #3 on CoinMarketCap’s list of exchanges by volume. As a result, it goes without saying that liquidity issues will never arise on this exchange.
For consumers who wish to trade cryptos on the go, they have mobile apps for both Android and iOS.
Their registration process is also rather basic and straightforward, so go ahead and fill out the necessary paperwork. Oh, and just to let you know, the exchange rate is also rather reasonable. Have fun with it.
- XRP/BTC and XRP/USDT are supported XRP pairs.
Changelly is a product of MinerGate, a mining pool with a track record of delivering high-quality crypto-products.
One of the best things about Changelly is that there are no long verification or registration processes. You simply enter your email address (or any other email address) and begin exchanging messages!
They charge a 0.5 percent commission on each trade, which I believe is a little price to pay for the volatility and risk they assume on behalf of their customers. A miner’s fee is also paid by the user and withdrawn straight from their crypto balance in addition to the commission.
To buy from Changelly, all you need is a VISA/MasterCard (credit/debit card) or any Changelly-supported cryptocurrency, as well as a wallet where you want your new coins sent.
With over 200 crypto coins to pick from, including Ripple, Bittrex is my personal favorite cryptocurrency exchange.
It has one of the highest BTC trading volumes of any exchange in the world and charges a normal 0.25 percent transaction fee.
To use Bittrex, you must first register and log in with your email address; however, in order to withdraw funds, you must complete a KYC by supplying your identification documents and phone number, as well as enable two-factor authentication for greater limits.
The account verification process on Bittrex is fairly rapid, which is a plus.
Bitfinex is the most popular Bitcoin exchange by volume for the BTC/USD pair. It was also one of the first companies to accept Ripple as a form of payment for its customers.
Liquidity is never an issue for this exchange, which has the second greatest volume in XRP, and the user interface is also rather straightforward.
However, their registration procedure is long and time-consuming. After submitting proper ID proof, you should expect to be admitted onto the site within 15-20 business days. To use Bitfinex, you must first register, verify your identity, and validate your account.
ShapeShift is one of the most convenient ways to get your favourite cryptos because it is fast, dependable, and simple to use. You also don’t need to register or go through any KYC to use ShapeShift!
On ShapeShift, there are already more than 50 cryptocurrencies (including Ripple) that may be swapped for one another.
You only need two items to purchase Ripple on ShapeShift:
- Your Ripple address, where you’d like your Ripple tokens to be sent.
- To swap for Ripple, you’ll need either bitcoins or cryptocurrencies.
See our Shapeshift guide for a step-by-step approach on trading other cryptocurrencies for Ripple. Though this instruction is for exchanging ETH for BTC, the procedure for purchasing Ripple is the same.
